SAMPURAN WATERFALL, THE UNTOUCHED TOURISM OBJECTS
Sampuran Widuri Waterfall is situated in Dusun III, Dolok Merawan Village, Dolok Merawan District, and only 1 Km from the Sumatra passing road to Pematang Siantar. Around this place there are three waterfalls, the highest is the Sampuran Widuri waterfall with the height of 50 meters. The government of Sergai Regency determines this place as conservation for thousands of fish benih, including gold fish and nila. Sampuran waterfall is a tourism object managed by the Village and it is improving itself to be equal with the other tourism objects in Sergai Regency.
To reach the waterfall location, we must go downstairs with hundreds steps which become a unique attraction. The fresh air and the original nature are the interesting part of this tourism object. We will forget the fatigue of going downstairs when we reach the river bank. Unfortunately, this tourism object is lack of facility for the visitors, such as the lavatory and the accommodation. While on holidays, the visitors will be entertained by band or keyboard group invited by the government. To see the photographs of this location, please click ‘Sergai in Photos’ content.
